1. Who is responsible?
Tritone is responsible for processing personal data as described on this page. The final legal entity, registered address and Chamber of Commerce number will be added before launch.
2. What personal data do we process?
We only process data that is necessary for our work and for use of the website. This may include:
- your name, organisation, email address and phone number when you contact us;
- information you provide in an email, conversation, request for a proposal or assignment;
- information required for a business relationship, agreement, invoicing or administration;
- technical data processed by the hosting environment or server for security, error analysis and website availability.
3. Why do we process this data?
Personal data may be processed in order to:
- answer questions and arrange appointments;
- discuss, prepare or carry out a potential assignment;
- maintain our business and statutory records;
- manage and secure the website technically;
- understand how the website is used and improve it, after consent has been given.
Depending on the processing activity, we rely on the performance or preparation of a contract, a legal obligation, a legitimate interest or your consent.
4. Cookies and analytics
At present, this website does not use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or other tracking or marketing cookies. Where the website uses technically necessary cookies, these are used solely to make the website or a function you requested work.
Tritone intends to add Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics in the future. When this happens, we will load Google Analytics through GTM only after consent has been given. Before activation, the cookie settings will be expanded to provide a clear choice to accept or reject analytics.
This page will then be updated with the cookies and tags actually used, their purpose, provider and retention period. Non-essential tags will not be loaded before the visitor makes a choice.
5. Who do we share data with?
We only share personal data where this is necessary for our services, business operations or legal obligations. This may include providers of hosting, email, IT, administration and other professional support. Where required, we make appropriate privacy and security arrangements with parties that process personal data on our behalf.
When the contact form is activated, submitted contact details are processed server-side through Microsoft Graph and delivered into our Microsoft 365 environment. The website does not keep these messages in its own database.
Once Google Analytics is activated, Google may process data collected through that service. The precise setup and relevant safeguards will be documented on this page before analytics goes live.
6. How long do we retain data?
We do not keep personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a statutory retention period applies. Data that forms part of our tax records, for example, may be retained for the statutory period.
7. Your privacy rights
You can ask us which personal data we process about you and, depending on the circumstances, request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of that data. You can also object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, misuse or unwanted alteration. We assess which measures are appropriate based on the nature of the data and the processing.
9. Changes
This privacy and cookie statement may be updated when our services, website or the systems we use change. The most recent version is always available on this page.
10. Privacy contact
For questions or requests about privacy, you can contact us using the details on our contact page. The final privacy contact address will be added before launch.
